List of Foods High in Cholesterol Content

Cholesterol is essential for the normal function of the body. Nonetheless, when its level in the blood rises beyond the normal range it causes health complications, including heart disease. One of the causes of high serum cholesterol is consumption of diet that is high in cholesterol. Therefore, avoiding or reducing the intake of high cholesterol foods is one way to maintain normal serum cholesterol level. It should be noted however the same high cholesterol food stuffs are also good sources of other essential nutrients such as protein, fatty acids, macro- and micro-nutrients, and carbohydrates.

In the following table is a list of cholesterol food sources and their corresponding cholesterol content (mg of cholesterol per 100 grams of food portion). The list represents the top 100 food sources highest in cholesterol content from among approximately 7500 food items common in the American diet and analysed by the USDA Nutrient Data Laboratory.

My description according to Sun Signs

(Born between September 23 – October 22)

Libra – Latin for “the Balance” or “the Scales”, from the Greek word Zygos. This sign was originally called, “the Claws”, which were attached to the constellation Scorpio; the later idea of a balance most likely derived from the relative equality of day and night at the autumnal equinox.

Libra is balance. Libra will work with concentration and relax with dedication. Some Libras do seek perfection, which can make life trying for those who live with them.

Love and marriage is important to Libra. If you are lucky to marry Libra, your home will be filled with art and music.

Lucky phone number not all that lucky

(China Daily) Updated: 2007-09-29 08:49

A businessman in Qingdao, Shandong Province, was almost driven mad after he paid more than 10,000 yuan ($1,316) for an “auspicious” phone number, which brought him endless troubles instead of luck and fortune as he had expected.

Last year, the man, surnamed Liu, bought the phone number “66-666-666″ from one of his friends. (Many Chinese regard the number six as a sign that everything is going smoothly.) But since then, his life has become a nightmare, as he receives at least 100 calls a day from strangers. Some call to test whether the phone number really exists and some call asking to borrow money, believing “only rich people could offer to pay for such an auspicious number”. Now Liu hopes he can get rid of the troubles by selling the number to someone else. (Qingdao Daily)

Countdown in my DREAM

me and my SL

On the New Year’s Eve, I did not know where to go for countdown. Then I just decided to visit my parents. When going there I slept before 12:00AM so I could only countdown in my dream. LOLZ. I am back to PP now.

me

I arrived in Pursat

After a two-day stay and work in Oddor Mean Chey, I am now arriving in Pursat province where I have to spend another two days working. Then I will go back to Phnom Penh on Friday. See you all there.

These photos were taken at Neakta Klang Meoun, a famous sacred place in Pursat province.

Why can’t we drive in the Thai territory?

It is shocked to have learned that Cambodian cars are not allowed to drive through the border to Thailand at Poipet Entry. I don’t know if it is a border rule but I am sure it is not all about that because I saw many big trucks and cars from Thailand with Thai license plates moving on the road in the Cambodian territory. Is it fear?

As I remember, we are to park our cars in our land and buy ticket and walk in to Thailand, but why can those trucks and cars from Thailand drive in our side like that? Yesterday I , along with my colleagues, was about to visit Thailand near Poipet Entry, but seeing this made us stop going in because we felt irritated with this unfair deal.

Can anyone explain me about this? Are there also Cambodian Trucks there in the Thai Side? If there are, then it is fair. Your explanation would be highly appreciated.

One more thing that I want to say is the store in the Cambodian side. When asked how much an item is, they will say like 100 or something. At first I was very shocked as I thought it was costly (I was mistakenly thinking it was 100$), but it was 100B. However, when you buy something and ask them the price in Khmer Riel, they will have to think for a very long time. They seem to have forgotten their own currency. I don’t mind if they sell goods in Thai Bath as it is near the border, but they also should be able to make it in Khmer Riel.

I think this maybe the culture. When near Cambodian-Thai border, we use Thai Bath and when near Cambodian-Vietnamese border, we use Vietnamese Dong. I used to be mistaken that maybe they use Thai Bath because it is more expensive than our currency then I come to think about Vietnamese Dong. Now I know it is Cambodian Culture. Remember, we cannot use our currency in their lands. We have to make exchange before going in. That is unfair again.

mpsinfo is now in Oddor Mean Chey Province

MPSINFO is now on the second day in Oddor Mean Chey Province and it is also the last day here. Tomorrow, MPSINFO is leaving for Pursat Province.

MPSINFO is back to PP

I still can do this even I have left it behind for a very long time. This was on the Ocheu Teal Beach.

mpsinfo is in Koh Kong Now

We arrived here in Koh Kong yesterday at around 12:00pm. Then we had workshop here in the afternoon. Now we are on the second day of the trip in Koh Kong province. Tomorrow, we will be going to Kampong Som for another 3 days including another half-day training. We will be back to Phnom Penh late afternoon on December 12, 2009.

In this picture, I am performing with a small cute parot at the Koh Kong Safari World. I was asked to fold money and put on my hand. Then they asked the parot to fly to me to take this money. Then they asked the parot to get the money back to me. I performed this with sister Sithy. We were very happy here.

See you all in Phnom Penh soon.

Let me say something about HELMET

ការពារជីវិតអ្នក ពាក់មួកសុវត្ថិភាព!

Save your life, wear helmet.

I have been safe so far on the road because I’ve ridden not very fast but fast and full of attention, and I have always worn helmet. I have been doing this since the traffic rule on wearing helmet was not passed. I’ve done this because I think there are at least two advantages for me, personally.

The first and the biggest reason for wearing helmet is to protect my lovely life because I have led my life in a very good way, so I can’t be careless about this.

The second reason is to protect myself from sunlight and dirt while riding because sunlight can damage my face and eyes, and dirt can destroy my lounge.

There are also disadvantages besides what I mentioned but they can’t stop me from wearing it.

ហើយដើម្បីសុវត្តិភាពមួករបស់អ្នកសូមផ្ញើវាជាមួយនឹងអ្នកផ្ញើម៉ូតូទៅ

SAVE YOUR HELMET, KEEP IT WITH THE MOTOR KEEPER.

Though I am safe on the road, it is not safe for my helmets. As I can still remember, I have lost 10 helmets already since I started riding motor bike in the city. I just lost two in the last few weeks. Now I just want to mention the last two. The first one was stolen when I put it on my motor while watching the football match between Cambodia and Vietnam at Olympic Stadium, hoping the motor keeper can take care of it. Yet, I was mistaken. I was very much happy to see that Cambodia won the Vietnamese team, but later on I was very sad when I discovered that my lovely helmet was stolen. There were many helmets around but they were safe except mine. I think it was because my helmet was somehow expensive, around 20$ or maybe I was an unlucky man.

After losing this one, I went to school without helmet on Saturday and Sunday. Then in the morning on Monday, I bought another one which cost me 18$. It was safe within the weekday because I kept it at my workplace. However, on Sunday, I lost it again at Norton University. This made me shocked the most as I thought that people there are highly educated, yet they did this sinful act.

Oh, my lord Buddha, I had to spend another 18$ for my current one. Now I become afraid of anything as I also experienced losing my first motor bike which I could barely afford to buy.

I always hope that my current helmet will be safe for long, so I always pay to keep it with the motor keeper or at least ask the motor keeper to make sure if it is safe to keep it on the motor.

I notice that since the new traffic law was in place, more and more helmets have been stolen.

I will be in Koh Kong and Kampong Som Next week

I will be in Kong Kong and Kampong Som next week for the WMC annual staff retreat 2009. I hope I can access to Internet there so that mpsinfo.wordpress.com can go with me; otherwise, I will have to be away from it during this said period.

My Team Members prepared for the final Match.

Image

On November 28, 2009, at the Women’s Media Centre of Cambodia, there was a Bowles Championship Match for
Vanna Open 2009.

At the end of the match, the champion for this year open was the team called “The Driver” and number 2 was “The
Radio 3”, number 3 was “The Radio 2” and number 4 was “The aRetiring Men”.

The prize for this championship was presented by Ms Chea Sundaneth, Director of Radio and Television Production witnessed by CTN sports reporter.

When interviewed by the CTN reporter, Ms Chea Sundaneth said that this was the first time that WMC conducted this match for this type of sport with the initiative of Mr. Chheng Sovanna, WMC Film Director, aiming at building stronger relationship between staff from every section in WMC and to promote staff’s health status as they are all busy when on duty, so they can play it at the end of working time. She hoped that this match will be continuously conducted in the future and she also hoped that another type of sport will also be arranged. It is table tennis.

All players hope there will be bigger and more official match in the future.

Honestly speaking, my team was in the fourth place. lolz.
